Well, Thing 2 being the cool kid he is, he loves to shop. OK, so if you know me you know that I don't think that's such a cool thing. I don't even like to grocery shop. Anyway, Braniac is following in his brother's footsteps so, since it's Camp Mom, and we can do that, we went to the mall for today's camp.
First stop, Crate & Barrel where we found potential dishes for our new kitchen, a rug which I will have to go back and pick up later (I forgot before we left), and this really cool, red sofa. :)
Braniac picked out this nice chair and lamp. Perfect for perusing The Wall Street Journal...or more likely in Braniac's case CCM or The Hard Music Magazine.
Then we stopped by Macy's to look at dishes.
Afterwards, we went to Stride Rite and discovered that Babycakes had grown...again. Note the nice, new, blue shoes. :)
Then for the really fun part. We went to the fountain outside Stride Rite.
Babycakes needed a little encouragement so I *had* to take my shoes off and show him how it's done. It was quite the sacrifice on my part, playing in the cool water in 104 degree weather.
He finally got the hang of it.
And ended up as soaked as his brothers. :)
Off to the playground to dry off.
Then to Chick-fil-A for a late lunch. We had intended to return to finish out the rest of their favorite places, including CBTL, but Babycakes was exhausted so we came home instead.
